About This Blog
Though I’ve blogged on the personal side for years, this here is very much still a fledgling endeavor. If you’ve found your way here, things aren’t totally set up yet, but feel free to peruse — and subscribe! // Joe
This blog’s content
Very generally, this blog is an attempt to track news, promote discussion, and explore issues relating to the hyper-evolution of cloud computing and decentralized knowledge-sharing during this landmark period of human history.
Specifically, predictable topics include those relating to accessibility, net neutrality, open source/content, interactive democracy, citizen/backpack journalism, media conglomeration, and more.
I will include:
- News/projects I deem relevant to mention that stem from my full-time gig
- Rich media such as screencast tutorials and interviews with industry experts in an aim to provide interesting educational resources one couldn’t glean from a manual
- Open-ended questions, the responses to which serve as a resource for me as much as anyone else in helping to solve technical problems or suss out philosophical conflicts
- Identifying disinformation or misleading advertising and labeling it as such
- Curveballs in the form of occasional reviews of live music performances
I will not include:
- Vacation photos or status updates that only my family and friends might be interested in
